Terms of service
The rules for using PartyGames, written to be read without a law degree.
📅 Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. The service
PartyGames is a party-game app you can use in the browser or install from the stores. It is free and requires no account; some optional features are paid. By using PartyGames you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. Age and parental control
On first launch the app asks for an age band. For anyone who states they are under 13, and whenever no age is given, online play is disabled by default: it can only be enabled by a parent or guardian, who must read the safety notice and set a PIN. Under the same conditions advertising stays switched off. The details are in the privacy policy.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the service to have fun with other people, not to harass them.
- Do not interfere with rooms, servers or other people’s games.
- Do not use the app for unlawful purposes or purposes forbidden by applicable law.
- Do not put personal data — yours or anyone else’s — such as full names, contact details, school or address into nicknames, answers or drawings.
4. Rooms and player content
Nicknames, avatars, drawings and answers entered during a game are player content: you are responsible for what you write or draw, and it is visible to the other players in the same room. Rooms are temporary — they expire after one hour of inactivity or six hours of total duration — and their data is deleted on expiry. We may shut down a room in case of abuse.
5. Premium and purchases
Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it removes the ads and unlocks extra content. Payment is handled by Google Play or Apple, not by us: refunds, purchase restoration and invoicing follow the rules of the store you downloaded the app from. If Premium does not show as active, use “Restore purchases” with the same store account; if that does not help, write to us.
6. Service availability
We do our best to keep the service online, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation: maintenance, updates or provider issues can cause outages. Single-phone games keep working offline. We may change, suspend or discontinue individual features, such as online play, and will say so in the app.
7. Intellectual property
The name, artwork, texts, sounds and code of PartyGames belong to their respective owners and may not be copied or redistributed without permission, except where the law allows it. The Google Play and App Store trademarks and badges belong to their respective owners.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app, nor for content entered by other players in a room. Consumer rights granted by applicable law remain unaffected.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when features, providers or legal obligations change: the date at the top of the page marks the latest version and significant changes will be announced in the app.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Italian law. For any communication write to massimoverzeni@gmail.com.
