The content is made for families: games like Charades or Doodle work well with younger kids paired with an adult. On first launch the app asks for an age band: under 13, or when the age is not given, online play is switched off and can only be enabled by a parent, who sets a PIN.
In the free version yes, between games β but never for players under 13 or who did not give an age: for them ads are switched off entirely. The Premium purchase removes them for good.
You need the room code, or the link/QR the host sends you. Open it and you are in β no extra install if you play in the browser.
Names and avatars stay on the device; online rooms are temporary. The details are in the privacy policy.
